History
The establishment of VRC Prospects in 2006 brought together a vast amount of experience and resources from varying field of construction.
In addition to a number of blue chip clients in the private and commercial sector, VRC Prospects currently has a number of contracts, and is preferential supplier to vary Goverment departments, including South African Police Department and Department of Justice
As these govermental departments form the backbone of the Company, the costing and billing systems were formulated and adapted to work in conjunction to changing requirementsof the client.Knowing what the customer's logistical requirements are even before any works are undertaken ensures the sufficient processing of documentation and successful completion of work orders and contracts.

Different Types of CLYDEN® Cell Locks
A-Type CLYDEN® Cell Lock. Prison Lock used for Department of Correctional Services.
C-Type CLYDEN® Cell Lock. Double throw cell lock used by South African Police Services and Department of Justice. SAPS compatible POL 2006/D5 specification.
D-Type CLYDEN® Cell Lock. Single throw cell lock used by South African Police Services and Department of Justice. Upgraded version of the C-Type Double throw CLYDEN® cell lock with Patent No. 2005/09426. SAPS replica breitling compatible POL 2006/D5 specification.
E-Type CLYDEN® Heavy Duty Lock. Double throw action using an Euro profile cylinder lock used in the private sector.

Installation and Servicing of CLYDEN cell locks
VRC Prospects cell lock "Services" keeping Prisoners Secure
We keep a full range of spares for servicing CLYDEN Cell lock :
- Replacemnet of Faulty or broken levers.
- Replacement of Bend/Broken bolt stumps.
- Complete set of keys for replacements.
- Complete Lock bodies for replacement
Repair work of cells include :
- Replacing Cell door hinges.
- Securing of faceplate of cell doors.
- Rehanging of Cell doors and re-inforce to concrete.
- Modification on old cell locks to fit clyden cell lock with a lockbox.
- Tapping and drilling holes of damaged holes to secure CLYDEN cell locks.
Guarentee on CLYDEN Cell Locks
Installation/Fitting of CLYDEN "D" type single throw cell lock at all clients will carry a 6 month guarantee from date of installation.
Guarantee is only valid if VRC Prospects personally do installation, guarantee is on workmanship, mechanics of the lock and key.
Any damages caused to lock by suspects,the clients or unauthorized persons will be repaired at clients cost.
From date of installation every 12 months the cell lock should be serviced by VRC Prospects set of keys will be given to the client
VRC Prospects will forward a quote 2 months before due date of service for order to issued.
